Ronald E. Kauffman, B.A.
Ron Kauffman is President of Food Industry Sanitation Auditors, and has been a sanitation auditor for over 12 years. His experience includes Research and Development Manager, Quality Control, Sanitation and R & D Training Coordinator for Unilever Corporation; Quality Assurance, Sanitation Manager and Regulatory Agency Liaison for Williams Foods; Quality Assurance, Sanitation Manager and Facility Construction Coordinator with Iams Pet Foods; restaurant owner; Corporate Quality Assurance, Sanitation Manager/Auditor, Research & Development, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance Officer and Engineering Manager with General Foods Corporation. Ron has a B.A. in Biological Science and is a certified FPA-SAFE auditor.

Kenneth Hunter, R.S.
Ken has worked for 23 years with Riceland Foods, retiring in 2001 as Corporate Manager of Product Compliance. Prior to Riceland Foods, Ken worked for several years as a plant sanitarian with Quaker Oats, as a consultant with the National Sanitation Institute, and as an inspector with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. Ken has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and is a Registered Sanitarian.

Paul Lyman, M.S., R.S.
Paul has prior experience as the Director of Food Safety & Sanitation Services for Sara Lee Bakery Group, and prior to that as Regional & Corporate Senior Manager of Sanitation Service for The Earthgrains Company. He was also a Sanitation Service Manager for Campbell Taggart, Inc. Paul has an MS Degree from the University of Texas, School of Public Health and is a certified FPA-SAFE auditor, FPA registered sanitarian, certified pesticide applicator in six states and is HACCP certified.

Gene Mathews, B.S.
Gene has 19 years experience with Nabisco as an Environmental Resource Manager. He was a Corporate Sanitarian for 18 years with Krause Milling. Gene has a B.S. degree in Agriculture and Plant Science. He is a certified FPA-SAFE auditor, a certified pesticide applicator and certified food service manager.

Daniel B. Reed, B.S., R.S.
Dan has experience a Manager of Quality Assurance with J. Hungerford Smith (now ConAgra), Director of Quality for Favorite Brands International, and Q.A. Operations Manger for Gilroy Foods. His early career includes experience as a microbiologist for Hershey Foods. Dan is a certified FPA-SAFE auditor and a Registered Sanitarian. He holds a B.S. in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry.

Jim Rutledge, B.S.
Jim was Vice President - Food Protection Services for over 15 years with Bunge Milling. During his earlier 20 years with Bunge/Lauhoff Grain, he held positions ranging from lab supervisor to plant sanitarian to Director of Corporate Sanitation. Jim attended the University of Illinois where he majored in Biological Science. He is a certified FPA-SAFE auditor, a certified microanalyst and a certified pesticide applicator. Jim has been active in a number of professional organizations including the International Association of Operative Millers and the Master Brewers Association of the Americas.

Ronald Wignall, B.A.
Ron’s prior experience covers over 35 years in the food industry, including Regional Sanitarian and Consultant for ConAgra Foods, and Manager of Sanitation for the Quaker Oats Company. Ron has a Bachelor degree and is a certified FPA-SAFE auditor.
