Crisis Management

FISA’s professionally trained and experienced auditors can help develop, audit and test the company’s Crisis Management Program. The program evaluation would include:

  • A Crisis Management Team with set responsibilities. Current contact numbers for accessibility (7 days a week, 24 hours a day) to include key personnel (local and corporate), fire department, hospital, regulatory agencies, company attorney, police, sheriff, etc.

  • An Emergency Plan to continue supplying customers during any type of crisis, i.e., flood, tornado, explosion, sabotage, fire, power interruption, etc. This could include the use of a sister plant or approved copacker to keep the supply chain full.

  • Conduct mock exercises such as fire drills, tornado warnings, and training of all personnel so they know what to do and where to go during a crisis. This should include contractors and visitors.

  • A review of the crisis, what was the cause, how could it have been prevented, and what steps should be taken to prevent or respond more efficiently or expeditiously in the future.
